A seasoned writer, editorial consultant and content creator, Ernest has deep experience helping clients—including foundations, government agencies, corporations, and public relations firms—develop and deliver powerful messages to achieve their communications goals.

With a background in journalism, most notably The Wall Street Journal, Ernest combines editorial rigor with accessible language that speaks directly to a wide range of audiences. He thrives in collaborative environments, engaging with clients to articulate and express their ideas and values in thought leadership, op-eds, articles and books, as well as on social media platforms. 

Ernest’s work spans the worlds of business, urbanism, technology, sustainability, design and innovation, drug policy, and nonprofits. For example, he was recently tapped by the Mayor’s Office of the City of New York as project writer and editor for a series of strategic reports on the city’s future. As chief content officer of the Rosenthal Center for Addiction Studies, Ernest oversees a multimedia communications effort to shape national drug policy. He consistently serves as contributing writer to such renowned PR agencies as Edelman, Ulysses Communications, and Camron. for clients in the technology, retail, design and nonprofit sectors. 

A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Ernest lives in New York City with his wife and daughter.
